Usage, safety and liability notice
The full notice is currently available in English. The brief warning above is translated into your language.
Evite inserir documentos confidenciais ou dados pessoais.
MD2D is a free tool developed and maintained by an individual. Creating and converting documents generally takes place in your browser.
The operator does not intentionally collect or publish the content of documents you enter. External images, advertising and other third-party services may nevertheless involve network requests. If you share a file or URL yourself, recipients may be able to access its contents.
Bugs, browser or device problems and third-party attacks may lead to data loss or disclosure. These risks cannot be eliminated entirely. The service is provided as-is, without guarantees of complete security, uninterrupted operation or data retention.
Keep your own backups of important documents and check who can access anything you share.
Liability for damage arising from use of the service is governed by applicable law. Nothing in this notice excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including for intentional misconduct or gross negligence where applicable.
Privacy, rights and service terms
Last updated: 30 October 2026
Document storage and external data transfers
Document text and editing assets are generally processed and stored in your browser, including IndexedDB. Browser or device resets may erase this data: export your own backup files. Share links may include document content; anyone with the link may be able to read it.
Our hosting provider (including Cloudflare) may process technical request information such as IP addresses and access times when delivering pages. The MD2D operator does not deliberately collect document contents, but this does not mean that every third-party network request is absent.
Loading externally linked images contacts their hosts. Embedded videos can contact YouTube (privacy-enhanced embed mode) or Vimeo, and automatic icon retrieval sends icon names to Iconify. Those services may process IP addresses and related technical data. Review each external provider's terms and privacy notices.
Google Analytics 4 usage measurement is enabled only on eligible production pages after express consent. A Google AdSense account verification tag does not mean ads are being served. If advertising is enabled later, third parties may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses and similar identifiers. You can allow or decline the optional tags and reopen the choice using the settings button below.
Copyright, third-party assets and exported files
Using MD2D does not transfer the rights you hold in your own text, images or other content to its operator, nor does it grant the operator blanket permission to repurpose your work for advertising or model training.
MD2D software, branding, design and templates, as well as third-party fonts, icons, images and videos, may be subject to their respective owners' rights and licensing terms. The ability to edit or export an asset does not grant permission to reproduce, distribute, modify or commercially exploit third-party material.
You are responsible for verifying the rights or permissions for the materials you input, import or publish. Attribution alone does not automatically legalize the use of copyrighted material. Quotation has legal conditions. Use official video embedding mechanisms rather than unauthorized downloads or redistribution.
Acceptable use, limitations and paid features
Do not use MD2D for unlawful content, third-party rights violations or unauthorized handling of confidential materials. Export fidelity, legal clearance and uninterrupted operation are not guaranteed. Verify important documents and keep backups.
No payment functionality is currently offered. Before introducing any paid service, the operator must publish applicable prices, payment methods, service terms, cancellation rules and legally required sales disclosures.
Liability is subject to applicable law; these terms do not purport to exclude liability where exclusion is unlawful, including relevant intentional or grossly negligent acts.
Liability limitations and mandatory rights by jurisdiction
The service is provided as available and as-is. Except where applicable law requires otherwise, the operator makes no guarantee of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, security, uninterrupted availability, or preservation and recovery of data. Any modification, suspension or discontinuation remains subject to applicable legal duties.
You must verify that you have the necessary rights and permissions for documents, images, text, links and other materials you input, import, export or share, and check their accuracy and legal compliance. Unauthorized copying, infringement of third-party rights, and improper handling of confidential information or personal data are prohibited. Review exports before publication, submission or business use, and keep backups.
Only to the extent permitted by applicable law, the operator excludes liability for indirect, special, incidental or consequential losses, lost profits and business interruption arising from use or inability to use the service or failures of external services. Merely describing a loss by one of these labels does not exclude any liability that applicable law makes non-excludable.
These disclaimers and limitations do not restrict mandatory consumer rights or remedies, data protection rights, or any other rights protected by applicable mandatory law. They do not apply to intentional wrongdoing, gross negligence, death or personal injury, or other liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted. Their validity and scope vary by jurisdiction and circumstances.
Nothing in these terms authorizes illegal conduct by users or the operator, or removes criminal responsibility, regulatory duties, or obligations under copyright and data protection laws. Third-party services are also subject to their providers' applicable terms.

Google services and privacy
A Google Search Console verification meta tag is present to verify website ownership; it does not itself perform analytics.
Google Analytics 4 (GA4) loads on the production site only when a dedicated MD2D measurement ID is configured and the visitor consents. We track sanitized page paths, creation starts, editor opens, and export formats. We do not send document text, Markdown, file names, URL query strings, or URL fragments in custom events.
The Google AdSense account verification meta tag and ads.txt are present. Real ads remain disabled until the site review, valid ad unit, and applicable consent requirements are completed. Enabling ads may involve third-party network requests.
Your consent choice is stored in this browser's localStorage. Analytics and advertising tags do not load before consent. Use the preference settings button below to reset your choice. Refer to Google's privacy policy for Google's handling of data.
